An actual journal layout
After years of slowly puzzling it together, I've finally finished my mood theme! The pictures are actually bigger than currently displayed, but I will have to figure out how to fix that some other day...when I'm awake enough to learn how to rewrite my jounral layers and style from scratch (I predict a lot of backward engineering and cursing at my computer screen).

Anyways, the mood theme in question features one of my favorite characters of all time: Rayek from Elfquest.

If you haven't read this wonderful comic, do so now! It's all available for free online, you see :)

Of course I couldn't add a self-made mood theme without personalizing my journal a little - which quickly went over board. I can't tell you have many hours I spent banging my head against my desk while trying to figure out why this or that wouldn't load, or what color goes with what (I have no artistic blood whatsoever).

The beautiful picture up top was drawn by my wonderfully talented sister chibiangle. Visit her dA here.

Please tell me if there's something that looks weird or makes your eyes hurt!

(And if anyone knows how to recode the layout so the mood theme images can be their original size, I'm very grateful for hints!)

Hi, fellow Scandinavian here. Hope you don't mind my intrusion. :) Would you like to discuss fandom in Scandinavian or do you have Scandinavian fanworks to share? Perhaps you'd consider joining us over at scandafandom?

We are many Scandinavians here on LJ, but we almost all post and comment in English. I'm contacting you to try to gather us in a strong and lively Scandinavian speaking milieu, where we can get beta readers for fanfics in our mother tongue, squee over Scandinavian events, fanworks and cons (not just stare in envy at our American friends' posts from AWA...) and so on. You can talk about all kinds of fandom related topics at scandafandom, as long as you post in a Scandinavian language. See you there? (Lurking is also perfectly okay!)

(How I found you: I searched for Scandinavian journals with recent updates. I then had a look at your profile and journal, saw that you were active in fandom and thought that you would possibly be open for an invitation. I hope I wasn't totally amiss. :)

I don't mind random invitations at all - makes for nice surprises :)

The group sounds interesting! I've only got a small circle of friends here in Sweden who I can talk fandom and fanfic with, so finding like-minded souls over the internet is a nice idea; especially as I do hang out at conventions and would like to have more people to meet up with at them.

I'll go join right away!
